Programme
The Eurofighter Typhoon has been developed by four of the world’s leading aerospace companies, BAE Systems, EADS-Military Aircraft (Germany), Alenia Aerospazio of Italy and EADS-CASA (Spain) and is in service with these four nations. There are over 638 aircraft under contract, 420 industrial partners and 120,000 dedicated employees. Austria has ordered 18 Typhoon aircraft with options for a further six. Greece has selected Typhoon as its next generation fighter. Typhoon is actively being promoted in a number of other markets including Norway, Denmark, Switzerland and Turkey. Typhoon will be the cornerstone of NATO defence capability for the next four decades. |
